I paid around $48 for it new. Also I would allow the default photo to be changed, so you don't have to go back to viewing the displayed photo when you remove the flash drive, or perhaps allow both the SD slot be used at the same time as the flash drive.But apart from that this is a very nice unit and I would recommend it to anyone. I was originally looking for a different kind of alarm clock but I saw this and liked that it has divx and MP3 players, radio and USB port. There are one or 2 things I would change, such as the buttons are not back lit so you have to remember where the buttons are in the dark.
You could watch your photos randomly, videos and hear your mp3 or radio. I will definitely buy it again. This is just a great item for the office. The only thing is that it doesn't have an ear plug and that while in clock mode the pictures won't change.
Waste of cash. Not only were we late for work the warranty was up on the product by like 8 days. When one day it decided to shut off and never comeback on. Like if we set it at 11:41 exactly with our phones, two weeks later we would look at our phones and it would be 11:41 and the alarm clock would say like 11:38. This alarm clock was great while it was working. You could place photos on it and it looked real nice on our mantle. The Screen was bright and beautiful the time would lose minutes every now and then.
I like the big numbers, the brightness controls, and the personalized photos features. This is a good alarm clock with lots of extra features. But that's minor. I first saw this clock on a Best Buy display over their clock radios. But they don't even stock this radio. It doesn't seem to have a slide show feature for your pictures when you are in "clock" mode.
thanks. Most digital picture frames dont have the features that this one has thats why i bought it from a seller for $50. There have been many a morning when I have woke up and thought what is the day today. Some of these features are auto-dim light, dual timers, plays divx movies,doesnt have any internal memory must use those mini usb drives or an sd card, wake up alarms ( radio, church bells,buzzer,forest,sinigng birds, and ocean wave), only has an fm radio no am, 2 small speakers on the front of the radio that put out good sound with auto tuner and 20 presets. This is the only digital photo frame that has dual alarms, a radio, has 3 sleep modes that shut off in 15,30,60,90,120 increments, and a buzzer that gradually gets so loud you can hear it from one end of the house to the other. This is an ok radio that basically has the features that I wanted.
I only gave it 4 stars becaus no internal memory for the outrageous price of almost one-hundred bucks. I like that this radio has large numbers for the time and displays day, date, and month, and shows alarm time and a picture on the right. Even though this radio did have some feaatures that i didnt like such as picture resizing and no internal memory it was a good purchase in the end. This radio saves me the worry about that thankgod. You can also change from 12h to 24 h time and you can change color of background for clock from blue, green, red, and purple. I've had this radio for at least 3 months and it has a lot of features and then some.
You can display the pictures in regular format or widescreen but in widescreen the images get cut off and in regular mode you get 2 bars on the sides of the photo. It is definately worth paying $50 or less for this radio but any more than that and you might as well buy from a seller.
